Read the Weather Forecast and allow your threads to adapt to the change in winter weather. Also, activity has begun to drop on Translucence with some members, but I hope everyone will make an effort to remain as active as possible, and please try and advertise! We always like to see new rpers around here

Character Happenings
Monarchy :: With the Corrupts taking over Lake Shartel, all members are on high alert in the Forest
Echo :: Mirage has taken over the Devout land! ALL former Echo members must leave and join the Monarchy
Dictatorship :: Sanclare, Cayara's sister, is the current alpha of Xykin. Wolves MUST join or be punished.
Erebos :: Mirage has been successful in her take-over and is now heading towards Xykin to talk with Sanclare
Loners :: Loners are encouraged to join the Devout and Corrupt packs, or perhaps even start a band of their own in a loner land

Current Weather
RAIN has begun to fall. The clouds have finally burst and water is now spilling through the land, bringing new life to wolves everywhere. Though no ice or snow litter the ground yet, aside from a few patches at the Peak and Lupan, the biting wind and frigid temperatures are a sure forecast for snow to fall in certain places. Wind speeds have risen, and if the snow does fall, it will be a blizzard. Prey animals are still virtually non-existant, so wolves are advised to pace themselves. Many predict it's going to be a very long winter.

	Lamese Forest Lamese Forest covers the majority of the Devout's territory, and is where their royal monarch family dwells. All other territories on this side are located within the forest, making the royals an easy target. That is, if someone could even find anyone within this many acres of land. Guards are on duty to protect the royals, and many keep a careful eye on their precious leaders.	10	56
	Lake Shartel Lake Shartel is a clean, pure, gleaming body of water located within a moderate forest. Its waters are cool and crisp, and the area around it is streaming with wildlife, and plenty of food. Tall trees surround it's banks, and makes it a hard place to find if you don't know where to look, which can come in handy against enemy attacks.	9	83

	Xykin Caverns Xykin Caverns is a dark, underground set of mini-caves that form a maze, perfect for any truly Corrupt wolf. The lack of light trains their eyes to adjust to darkness, making future night attacks easier. The set of mini-caves within it gives each family member in the pack their own individual shelter, with a large cave right in the center, making it perfect for meetings.	8	49
	Rahan Meadows Rahan Meadows is a nightmare waiting to happen. It grasses and shrubs are dry and dead, and it has an eerie silence to it, with the only sound made being the crackling of dead foliage underneath one's paws. Legend has it that being here alone will bring back your greatest fears and memorie. Although the Corrupt find it a comfortably dainty place to live...	12	55

	Kurlap Bay Kurlap Bay is located west of the island, where humans used to come and dock their vessels. Although its been years since one has visited these lands, the tides occasionally wash up human products that were buried in the sand years and years ago. The bay has a breathtaking view, especially as the sun is about to set, and the colors and location can make it a great place to be with those you love.	5	28
	Wenkis Peak Wenkis Peak is where all the bigger game are located to come and take a refreshing drink, or to graze on the lush grasses. The stags are nearly impossible to take on alone, and you are almost guaranteed to get an injury of some sort. However, if you are a part of a pack it can be quite rewarding to get some fresh caribou meat in your system.	3	26
	Mount Lupan Mount Lupan was a seemingly dormant volcano in the lands of Translucence, until the war, when it erupted fiercely, spilling out lava, ash and mud and rock that killed many fighting wolves. It was this catastrophe that stopped the war finally. The area around the volcano is blackened and seemingly dead, but all around the daring wolves that brave the terrain, new life is beginning to spring up. Still, it always helps to keep one eye on the crater that still spews smoke every once in awhile.	2	23
	Sunset Valley Tall, flowing grass blows back in the breeze, and the river that flows meanderingly through it is pure and perfect for satisfying a wolf's thirst. This valley here has an open scenery, and every evening you can sit back and watch the sun set on the horizon. On one side however, the slope rises steeply, and the drop on the other side could prove a bit tricky to handle.	12	91
	Pristiera Outback Pristiera Outback is a desolate land of heat, sweat, and hardship. First discovered by wolves Abel and Raven, it is located far west beyond what once was Charnt Swamplands. The drought has had virtually no effect on the outback, simply because the kind of wildlife and nature here is known for being able to withstand hard conditions. Cacti, scorpions, birds, and sometimes snakes can be found dispersed throughout the land. Rock formations range anywhere from a few feet high to several hundred, forming canyons in some areas. Many would not find the Prisiera Outback a comfortable living, but for those who do, the elements make it out to be a safe place to live, granted you don't land your hide in a cactus.	3	14
